My Work

The bulk of my work is deeply personal. It stems from my need to connect with and document my nearest and dearest, combined with a desire to create. You will find my journal filled with words and images that were created purely for me and mine, a snippet of our lives and a glimpse into my inner world. This alone, though, does not sustain me. I truly love to create for others as well. I want to fill their lives with nostalgia and memories, the kind that only photos can provide. I adore family work. Kids are just so much fun and in all their silliness and craziness, I get the chance to be a big kid too! A family photoshoot is never about poses, it is always about encouraging you all to have fun, let go and let YOU shine through.

Weddings are a secret love of mine. Capturing all the emotions that happen on the day, plus that special connection between two people…. Woah! I’m not sure it gets much better!

The magic between the happy couple and their most cherished people is always an honour to record, and my favourite part? Well… it has to be handing over the final product. The treasures they will hold dear for years and generations to come. The treasures that hold all the nostalgia of the day, bursting with their very own unique love story. That gets me every single time.

My personal work is my chance to get creative and take risks. I grow so much simply by trying out new things and not having to worry about mistakes. Sometimes it is about purely catching a moment, other times I have an idea in my head I simply need to explore. A lot of the time it is just about getting our silly on and enjoying the moment.
